Software Architect & Pragmatic Engineering Coach
Adam is a software architect with over 15 years of hands-on development experience across demanding environments like banking compliance, healthcare, and robotics. Adam has designed and scaled systems from early MVPs to enterprise platforms, and successfully coordinated distributed offshore teams of up to 120 developers. He knows exactly when code needs to be elegant and when pragmatism wins to ship on time. Today, Adam trains engineering teams in Agentic Coding, focusing on Claude Code and GitHub Copilot CLI. His approach is built entirely on Spec-Driven Development. Having spent years translating business requirements into foolproof architectural guardrails for large, distributed teams, he applies the exact same discipline to AI. He knows that without strict boundaries and clear specifications, AI tools simply generate technical debt at unprecedented speed. Adam teaches developers how to treat AI like a high-speed junior developer: guided by rigorous specs, pragmatic architecture, and clear domain boundaries. He only teaches what he has personally deployed, debugged, and scaled in production. Through his hands-on training, teams learn to: * Write airtight specifications that drive AI-generated code predictably. * Review, manage, and refactor AI-assisted code to prevent technical debt. * Build pragmatic architectures they will still enjoy working on years down the line. "I look forward to seeing you in the course, let's build resilient, AI-assisted software together!" Adam
View ProfileAbout This Workshop
Claude Code stops improving when you only prompt it harder. What limits it is control: what the context window holds, which kind of work goes to which tool, and which rules hold even when the agent disagrees. In this hour, Adam shows how to take that control.
The webinar condenses the 4-hour workshop Claude Code: Black Belt into a map of seven controls and the question that picks each one:
- Context: the window itself. Always the constraint everything else works around.
- Skill: instructions loaded on demand. For repeatable work you keep re-explaining.
- Subagent: a worker with its own context window. For noisy work that would pollute your thread.
- Agent team: a lead supervising peer sessions. For workers that need to talk to each other over time.
- Workflow: a script that holds the plan. For fan-out bigger than one conversation can steer.
- Hook: deterministic shell on a lifecycle event. For rules that must hold whether or not the agent agrees.
- MCP: your systems as tools. For reaching outside the repo, including the browser.
The examples come from CLASH, a Next.js app for spontaneous meetups in Berlin.
Who it is for
Developers, tech leads and architects who use Claude Code daily and know CLAUDE.md and plan mode. If writing a hook, authoring a skill or running a workflow is new to you, this is the right hour.
