This service provides hands-on workshops and training on Large Language Models, Small Language Models, Agentic Workflows, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Computer Vision, and advanced Web Technologies. By using this service, you acknowledge the educational nature of our platform and agree to comply with these Terms.

1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of NextAcademy Classroom, a workshop and training platform operated by SunsetPicnic UG (haftungsbeschränkt), trading as NextAcademy.io ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. For corporate enrollments, the authorized representative warrants they have the authority to bind their organization to these Terms.

3.1 Nature of Service

NextAcademy Classroom provides:

  • Open Workshops: Publicly advertised training sessions that anyone can enroll in
  • Private Workshops: Customized training for organizations and teams, typically on-site or through dedicated remote sessions
  • Digital Learning Materials: Access to lecture content, tasks, exercises, and learning resources
  • Interactive Classroom: Real-time learning environment with trainers and fellow participants
  • Post-Workshop Resources: Continued access to materials and recordings after workshop completion

3.2 Workshop Types

Open Workshops:

  • Advertised publicly on our platform
  • Open enrollment with published schedules
  • Fixed pricing and format
  • Mixed participant groups

Private Workshops:

  • Customized for specific organizations
  • Flexible scheduling and location (on-site or remote)
  • Tailored content and duration
  • Dedicated team sessions
  • Requires quote request and custom agreement

3.3 Educational Content and Limitations

Our workshops are educational services designed to enhance professional skills. We strive to deliver high-quality training, but:

  • Learning outcomes depend on participant engagement and prior experience
  • Technology topics evolve rapidly; content reflects best practices at the time of delivery
  • Hands-on projects may require additional setup or prerequisites
  • Some materials may reference third-party technologies subject to their own terms and conditions

4. Registration and Enrollment

4.1 Account Creation

To enroll in workshops, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4.2 Enrollment Methods

Participants may enroll through:

  • Direct enrollment via the public workshop catalog (Open workshops only)
  • Enrollment codes provided by workshop organizers
  • Administrative assignment by authorized personnel
  • Corporate bulk enrollment for Private workshops

4.3 Enrollment Confirmation

Upon successful enrollment, you will receive confirmation via email with:

  • Workshop details (dates, location, access links)
  • Preparation materials and prerequisites
  • Trainer information
  • Terms and cancellation policy

5. Pricing, Payment, and Refunds

5.1 Pricing

  • Workshop prices are displayed in EUR (€) unless otherwise specified
  • Prices may vary based on workshop type, duration, and format
  • Corporate/private workshop pricing is quoted separately

5.2 Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon enrollment for Open workshops
  • Corporate invoicing available for Private workshops
  • We use secure third-party payment processors
  • All prices include applicable VAT

5.3 Cancellation and Refund Policy

Participant Cancellations:

  • More than 14 days before workshop start: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
  • 7-14 days before start: 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days before start: No refund
  • Transfers to future workshops may be permitted at our discretion

NextAcademy Cancellations:

  • If we cancel a workshop, you receive a full refund or free transfer to another workshop
  • We are not liable for travel or accommodation costs

6. Acceptable Use and Code of Conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. Prohibited activities include:

  • Disrupting workshops or interfering with other participants' learning
  • Sharing account credentials or enrollment codes inappropriately
  • Recording or distributing workshop content without written permission
  • Using materials for commercial purposes without authorization
  • Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior toward trainers or participants
  • Accessing or attempting to access restricted areas of the platform

7. Intellectual Property and Licensing

7.1 Our Content

All workshop content, including lecture materials, code examples, exercises, videos, and platform design, are owned by NextAcademy.io or our licensors and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

7.2 Your License

Upon enrollment, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Access and use workshop materials for personal learning purposes
  • Download materials for offline study during and after the workshop
  • Reference and adapt code examples in your own projects

You may not:

  • Redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit workshop materials
  • Remove copyright notices or attributions
  • Use materials to create competing educational products

7.3 Your Content

Content you create during workshops (e.g., project code, exercises) remains yours. By sharing it in our platform, you grant us a license to display it for educational purposes within the workshop context.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using our Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

  • We collect account data, enrollment information, and usage patterns
  • Personal data is processed in compliance with GDPR

  • Third-party services (Clerk, payment processors) process data under strict agreements

9. Workshop Access and Availability

9.1 Platform Availability

We strive to maintain high platform availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance windows may be scheduled with advance notice when possible.

9.2 Technical Requirements

Participants are responsible for:

  • Stable internet connection for remote workshops
  • Compatible hardware and software as specified in prerequisites
  • Required development tools and environments
  • Timely completion of pre-workshop setup instructions

9.3 Recording and Content Access

  • Workshop sessions may be recorded for participant review
  • Recordings are typically available for 90 days after workshop completion
  • Digital materials remain accessible according to your enrollment type
  • Access may be revoked if Terms are violated

10. Trainer Authority and Safety

Our trainers have the authority to:

  • Remove participants from sessions for disruptive behavior
  • Modify workshop pace and content based on group needs
  • Enforce code of conduct and platform policies

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NextAcademy.io and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our maximum aggregate liability for all claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific workshop in question.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will meet your specific learning objectives
  • Skills learned will guarantee employment or advancement
  • Third-party tools or platforms referenced will remain available
  • Workshop content will remain current as technologies evolve

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Berlin, Germany.

13.2 European Online Dispute Resolution

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting updated Terms on our website with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
